Why GrowWithJo Is the Best Workout Buddy

by Brittanie Ganai Leave a Comment

Let me start by saying that I do not know GrowWithJo personally. Jo is a Youtuber, Fitness Trainer, and Kinesiologist. I found her on Youtube recently when I started my weightloss journey. I just had to come here and tell you why GrowWithJo is the best workout buddy and why you should be working out with her too!

Transparent

First off, Jo is very transparent when it comes to her own struggles.

She doesn’t try to hide that aspect of her life from us.

You’ll find non-exercise videos where Jo talks about how her body changed after having her baby.

She didn’t try to cover up or sugar code. She was very transparent about these things.

Real

I say she’s real because she has showed her exercising after she gained weight from having a baby.

And while there is nothing wrong with weight gain. She obviously wanted to lose weight.

So she showed her process as well as her progress.

What I got out of seeing just her intro is that she wasn’t always where she is at today.

But she worked really hard to get there.

Her hard work paid off and you can tell that she is happy with the changes she made.

Fun

GrowWithJo is so much fun to workout with.

Her exercises aren’t all that easy but they are fun.

I’m not going to lie and say you’ll forget you’re working out because working out is exercise

And you are going to feel it either way if you’re doing it right.

But GrowWithJo is so much fun.

I love her dance party workouts.

Just the other day I did the 90’s dance party. And I’m not lying to you when I say I had a blast.

Yes, I was tired at the end but it was a lot of fun, nevertheless.

Knowledgeable

GrowWithJo knows her stuff. She makes videos talking about different things related to weight loss.

One video I watched and she was talking about how to count calories.

This video was helpful for me since I’m new to counting calories.

She has other videos where she teaches you how to lose weight.

I plan to watch more of those videos in the near future.

Skilled

I say she’s skilled because not everyone can do what she does.

She has been doing this for a while so she has had time to better her craft.

Now, she does those exercises effortlessly, at least that’s how it seems.

Caring

GrowWithJo is caring to make these videos in the first place.

I truly don’t get the feeling that it is just about her YouTube check like I do with some other people.

She makes videos all the time to help others.

Not to mention, a lot of her videos are doable for people with ailments.

Like I have back issues as well as knee issues and some of the other exercises are really hard to impossible for me to do.

When I found GrowWithJo, I thought things would be the same way but they weren’t.

I was pleasantly surprised at how doable Jo’s workouts were.

And after having done a couple, I plan to stick with her for my entire weight loss journey.

Full of Energy

I can actually do her exercises and sweat. Not to mention she is so full of energy.

She jumps around and has a blast while doing these exercises.

I love her energy, it is everything.

She is so fun and full of energy.

Like you are not going to find this kind of energy just anywhere.

Very Motivating

GrowWithJo is also very motivating. The entire time she was giving me a thumbs up and mouthing the words, “You got this,”

I loved this aspect of it because it was always right on time.

Just when I got tired and felt like giving up, she would say something like keep going, you got this.

And for that moment I really felt like I had it.

Final Takeaway

GrowWithJo seems like a great person and she is so much fun to work out with.

If I could shake her hand I would and thank her for creating these amazing videos for us.

I plan to keep working out with Jo as I work hard to lose 93 pounds.
